Password Reset
Change Password as admin
In order to change the password any account, you will have to go to
System->Permissions->Users and click on the user’s account you want to change the password to.
Here you can set the new password at the “Password” field (1) and confirm the password at the “Password Confirmation” (2) and simply save the changes (3)
Reset Password
To reset password of an account you will need the email address and the username of the user you want to reset the password. In the login screen you can see at the bottom of the login ‘Forgot your password?’.
By clicking there you will be redirected to the page where you can reset your password.
In this page you should provide username and email address of the account. After you provide the required data click the button ’Recover Password’. If the email address and the username correspond to an user in Deepser a new email should arrive at the email address provided. The email should look like the one given below:
If you click the Reset Password button or link you will be redirected to a new page where you can add your new password.
The criteria for the new password are:
- Should be at least 7 characters
- Should contain at least 1 letter and 1 number
After adding the password and clicking Reset Password button the password will be set to the one you provided and you will be redirected to the login page.
