Associate a Contract / Line with other entities
Contracts and lines, principally, are associated with Operations and worklog, but with custom configuration they can be associated with all modules in Deepser.
Operation
Within the Operations form is the “Contract” field.
It is particularly useful, in reporting, exports and for applying filters (e.g., grids).
Worklog
In the worklog form there are the fields: “Contract” and “Contract Line.”
These fields, in addition to being informative, are necessary for billing the worklog related to the contract.
Also, from the activity it is possible to scale the time or quantity used from the line total. Within the Lines form, there is a fieldset called “Line Calculation.”
Here, the calculation of Lines is managed.
FIELD NAME | DESCRIPTION | NOTE |
Calculation Type | Select with values: None, Time, Quantity |
|
Total Time | Total line time | Calculation Type = Time |
Spent Time | Time spent of the line | Calculation Type = Time |
Remaining Time | Remaining line time | Calculation Type = Time |
Total Quantity | Total line quantity | Calculation Type = Quantity |
Spent Quantity | Quantity used of the line | Calculation Type = Quantity |
Remaining Quantity | Remaining quantity of the line | Calculation Type = Quantity |
Note: If the “Calculation Type” field is populated to “None” and “Total Quantity” to “10”, the quantity will not be scaled.
Calculation Type “Time”
By setting the field to “Time,” it will be necessary to value the “Total Time” field.
The time will be scaled when inserting, for example, an activity into an operation.
To scale it, it will be necessary to value the “Contract,” “Contract Line,” and “Duration” fields
When the Activity is saved, the time fields will be updated.
Calculation Type “Quantity”
By setting the field to “Quantity,” it will be necessary to value the “Total Quantity” field.
The quantity used will be scaled when inserting, for example, an activity into an operation.
To scale it, you will need to value the “Contract,” “Contract Line,” and “Contract Line Quantity” fields.
When the Activity is saved, the quantity fields will be updated.
