Mentions
The Mentions functionality in Deepser is accessible to all user types. By default, it is enabled for administrators, agents, and key users, but it remains disabled for end users.
The mentions functionality allows users to tag or reference specific individuals within tickets, comments, or other communication threads. This means you can directly notify someone by using “@” followed by their username, ensuring they see and respond to the issue quickly. This feature improves communication by making sure the right people are informed and can take action promptly. It helps teams work together more effectively, keeps everyone on the same page, and speeds up the problem-solving process. In busy environments where many tasks are being handled at once, mentions help keep everything organized and ensure that no important updates or responsibilities are missed.
Once you have mentioned a user they will be notified via email.
Enable the mentions for End-Users
To enable it you need to go to System->Custom Fields.
Here, you need to go to the module it should be enabled for. Then head inside the description field and go to the Extra Tab. Here you can enable or disable the mentions from the field Mentions (for End Users)
Example – Comments, Activity Module
If mentions are needed to be enabled for the comments you need to head to the Activity module.
After opening the module, you need to go to the fields tab and then open the description field configurations.
Go to the Extra Tab and here you can enable or disable the mentions from the field Mentions (for End Users).
