Email Webclient
Deepser has an integrated email webclient that allows users to send and manage emails directly from within the platform, facilitating communication and centralized management of company information.
EMAIL WEBCLIENT CONFIGURATION
First of all, to activate the possibility of sending via email webclient it is necessary to configure an outgoing mailbox.
Once done, it will be necessary to enable the possibility of using the mailbox for sending via email webclient.
In particular, from the “System Data” section it will be possible to configure the “Webclient Group” and “Webclient Model Alias” fields:
Both fields must always be valued so that the mailbox can be used to send emails.
Specifically:
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
Webclient Group | With this field you can enable using of the email webclient to a specific group (or to all groups). |
Webclient Model Alias | With this field you can enable using of the email webclient into a specific model. |
EMAIL WEBCLIENT USING FROM MODEL
The use of the email webclient, as can be guessed from the type of configuration, can therefore be used within a single model (based on the configuration of the mailboxes).
Specifically, there must be an “Emailwriter” type field within the template.
By doing so, it will be possible to invoke the email webclient to send an email directly from within a record. Below is an example of an “Emailwriter” field on the Operations template:
By clicking on the button in question, the webclient email screen will open:
Through this screen it will then be possible to compose the email and send it by clicking on the “Send” button at the top right of the screen.
Below are the details of the fields present and their use:
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
From | In this field, you can select the mailbox you want to use. In this case you can select only the mailboxes configured to be used with email webclient. |
Display Name | This field is pre-populated according to the selected mailbox. However, it can be modified to use a different display name for the email you are sending. |
To | email recipient field through which you can select users or groups already registered on Deepser or enter new email addresses. |
Cc | recipient field in copy of the email through which it is possible to select users or groups already registered on Deepser or enter new email addresses. |
Bcc | Recipient field in blind copy of the email through which it is possible to select users or groups already registered on Deepser or enter new email addresses. |
Subject | Subject of the email |
Body Html | Message body |
Attachments | Attachments |
Create Comments | A field that, if set to “yes”, allows you to upload the email as a comment in the record to which it belongs. |
Once sent, in this case, the email will be linked to the same record from which it was sent via webclient email:
