Project Module
The project module in Deepser is a tool used for Project Management and scheduling. This module is integrated with Gantt which makes it possible to manage tasks and their dependencies, track their progress etc. Like every other module in Deepser, this module has a main Entity which is Project, and this entity can have it’s own types.
When you click on “All” from the menu the Grid with all the projects will show. To create a new Project just click on right side corner button.
This page will be opened. From now, you’re free to fill the FormTemplate values:
Below, you will find a list of all the fields and their purposes:
Field | Description |
Name | Project Name. |
Duration Unit | Select field which indicates the duration of tasks inside this project: Days or Hours. |
Type | Project defined Type. |
Description | Project Description. |
Start Date | This contains the date from which the project will start. |
Default Time Scaling | Select field where you can choose the time scaling for Gantt which can be: 4 months, 1 week etc. |
Default Auto Scheduling | When switched to “ON”, tasks will be automatically scheduled once they are created. |
Use Project | When switched to “ON” allows this project to be used in other modules in Deepser like: Operation, CMDB etc. |
View Groups | Multiselect Field with all the groups that can only view this project. |
View Usernames | Multiselect Field with all the user that will be able to view this project. |
Edit Groups | The groups selected on this field will be able to view and edit this project. |
Edit Usernames | The users selected on this field will be able to view and edit this project. |
To view this project on Gantt chart, you can click on the button at top right corner, that appears after the project is saved.
